Today is the day I've finally decided to make a post on this thing called "BLOG". I only created the page several months ago, but it has taken me just that long to get the mental wheels in motion. I'm one of those people who often seems fairly quiet on the outside, but on the inside the cogs are always in motion and I've finally decided to get the thought mechanisms in writing.
As I write I hope to discover the nuances in my faith journey that are often missed because I'm mentally too busy to notice those gold nuggests on the way. I have been slowed down physically so this is my shot to sit in my cerebral wheelchair and view things from an alternate vantage point, taking the time to look around me when my arms ache from wheeling. My prayer is that my journey will be joined by other sojourners, eager to uncover the greater depths of faith and how that faith intersects with life.
Perhaps it won't take several months before I make the next posting!

- I'm a survivor of severe Aplastic Anemia, a bone marrow disease. Currently I deal with side effects from treatment and my bone marrow transplant, namely chronic fatigue and a bone disease called avascular necrosis. These physical limitations press me to live each day waiting upon God for the strength needed for the little things in life and relying on His power in order to be responsible to Him.
